Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai

We love this hotel. The staff here is stellar. They go above and beyond to take care of you. This place is perfectly placed just outside the old city square. It's just a few min ride to the city center. They have awesome food that includes local specialties. They also make the best drinks if you're also looking for a nice relaxing evening before or after going out in town. Highly recommend.

This hotel and its staff has been a dream during our visit to Chiang Mai. The old world charm is reminiscent of the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg. I was Leary about this hotel with some of the reviews that I had read, and I wonder if people posted about another hotel instead of the Centara in Chiang Mai. I could not see what they saw. The food is as diverse as the clientele that stay here. The buffets have so much delicious food to choose from. If you leave the restaurant hungry, that in my opinion is a you thing. June at the desk was very friendly at the time we checked in. She is a delight to speak with and has a good sense of humor but remains professional in every way. Aon in the dining room is always smiling and very helpful. Mia has been extremely kind and accommodating. While most were hiding inside in the air conditioning I was wanting to have my lunch outdoors on the patio. Coming from central Canada, I enjoy the sun and heat at this time of year. She found me a table with an umbrella and helped to answer my questions about the markets in the area. . The beds are Incredibly comfortable with pillows to match. The rooms are impressively clean and organized. Spacious is the best way to describe these rooms. Well done to each and every individual that puts their best foot forward to make this not just a hotel, but a pleasant experience while we travel Thailand. I wish I could mention you all by name. I would come back to this very hotel again in a heartbeat.❤️ Thank you so much

Quite a lot of things I like here, the views from different rooms, onto the river and the city's mountain, or my table at breakfast into Frangipani blooms, the Muesli sections with which I make my Muesli or the home made jam. - The music at breakfast a bit wild (free jazz) and overloud. A cool soft chill-out sound would make the atmosphere even better, for dreaming away some hours.
