Centauria Wild

We had a fantastic stay at Centauria Wild during our visit to Udawalawe National Park with family. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We also spent a lovely time at the pool, which everyone absolutely enjoyed. It was a great way to relax after a day of exploring. The food was a highlight as well, featuring delicious local and authentic Sri Lankan dishes, along with a few European options to suit different tastes. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Centauria Wild to anyone planning a trip to the area.

Had an amazing stay at Centuria Wild Resort! The atmosphere was peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect escape from the busy city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool area was beautiful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

What stood out immediately was how spotless everything was - easily the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in Sri Lanka. I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the bar area where they had a nice chess set and pool table (pro tip: stick to straight drinks as their cocktails need a bit of work). The room service and laundry service were both excellent - quick, efficient, and attentive. Unfortunately, the dining experience was frustrating. I tried both breakfast and dinner twice each - while two meals were acceptable, the other two were so poor I couldn't I wished I ate out. For the prices they charge, quality is unacceptable. Although my toddler daughter got all the care and need satisfaction anyone could ask even her own high chair was available. Top notch there. The biggest issue was the constant construction noise. Work was happening simultaneously by the pool, in the main hall, and right below our garden-facing room. The sounds of tools and workers completely ruined the peaceful nature experience I was hoping for on my balcony whilst enjoying a good glass of alcohol.
