Centaurus Hotel Suites

Stayed with family for three nights. Pros are that its secure, which was a key priority for us, and was acceptably clean and right above a mall thats open til 10 pm. The breakfast was nice with a desi and an English offer. Pleasantly surprised to see a sewing kit in the complimentary toiletries kit. Aircon worked well so we could set different temperatures for individual rooms and keep it off for unused rooms. There is underground parking. The views of the city are a great plus. That said, its a bit disorganised overall for the price point. To start with we could not book through booking.com as it kept asking to book more rooms when the suite/flat had enough rooms. Made a phone call and the booking happened quickly over whatsapp. The booking document had inconsistencies the first time, so I requested a correction which was done promptly. Check in was in a different tower to where the flats are. We checked in well after 5 pm and were taken to the suite immediately where we saw our suite was still being cleaned with the expectation that we'll wait in the corridor after a day of travel for cleaning to finish. We were shocked. The flat still smelled of food from last guests and cleaning liquids were on the floors. They did agree to give us another suite but only on my insistence. Considering how new the build is it looked rough handled: broken and loose door locks and tiles, scratches stains and dents on the bathtub in the main bedroom, no plug to keep water in, plus it creaked when you stepped in it for shower so we used the other bathrooms. There was a weird smelling shower gel, only two mugs four plates and no cutlery in kitchen, tv audio was bad, sofas had burn marks on cushions. The phone didn't work. No information about the city or hotel amenities in the room. There was one hard bound menu for a room delivery from a restaurant, and one magazine detailing the life events of the hotel's CEO with his many photos. No idea what use that is to a traveller. The wind outside or some nesting birds caused quite a bit of noise overnight so we had to run white noise to sleep. Finally, they made us wait after checkout in the lobby so housekeeping could go inspect the rooms. This wait should be advised at check in, so people can plan if they have buses, planes or trains to catch.

It was a nice location you have access to many food places and items.staff though gave very bad service they made us wait in the lounge for half an hour and gave our room to another family. We traveled 4 hours from Dadyal for nothing. We had to go back to our home and we were all very tired disappointed and miserable. I recommend booking if you are nearby but don't come if you are 20 miles away. I've heard mixed reviews about this hotel and I can definitely see why.

I had the opportunity to stay 1 night at Centaurus Residences in April 2025. The location of the property was central to all local attractions. However, the building itself was a little difficult to find because it was a cluster of 3 towers and no directions were provided at the time of booking for the exact location of the property. The property was sublet to 3rd party for management. The property was advertised with no prepayment requirements which was my preference. However, as soon as I made the reservation I started to get messages from the property management to deposit 50% down payment in order to retain the reservation or get my reservation cancelled. It was very unpleasant experience but i decided to deposit more than the 50% and went ahead with the reservation. On the day of arrival, I noticed the was in need of appropriate maintenance, as the kitchen cabinet doors were hanging, false ceiling damaged at some location, water leakage in the toilet and the roller blinds were stuck halfway which compromised my privacy. The property didn't even provided drinking water to the guest which is a strange and very unprofessional, especially for a traveller like myself who travelled from overseas for a stay at this property. I was even charged extra in addition to the total amount (inclusive of taxes) as shown at my reservation confirmation email. Overall, this property didn't provide good value for my money and I would suggest other travellers to search for other options instead of staying at this property.
