We had a lovely long weekend here, quieter than the longleat one In May, the lodge we stayed in was bigger and more spacious than the UK pine ones and had a massive opening to the outside. Separate WC and bathroom with a bubble jet bath tub. Only negative is lack of Aircon. The water park is good with 4 different main flumes nice all round although the savage river is well monitored and gats overcrowded and bottlenecks.... Lovey place for a holiday though as with all of these places costs inside the park are high so expect to pay out.
A well run center parc embedded in nature with much wildlife roaming the environment. More cars moving around than expected, on and after the check-in days. Prices high as expected for the 'captive' audience so be warned. We did find the family buffet restaurant outstanding. Wifi is decent. Worth exploring the whole woodland as plenty to discover.
We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights. We thought the location and the site itself to be peaceful and a lovely place to explore. The aqua Mundo was great and had a lovely outdoor pool. The cottage was a good size for us but lacked in storage for food and also clothes. The cleanliness of the cottage was not of a high standard, there was dust everywhere. There is no oven in the cottage which was a pain, only an electric hob and microwave. We visited the spa for a couple of hours and also had a treatment. The treatment was lovely as were the staff. The spa was nice as well however if you’re used to the spas in uk center parcs just beware the spa at Le Bois Aux Daims is about 1/4 of the size. We visited the cocoon cafe. Food was nice but service was very slow and staff not very attentive. All in all I think we would return as it is so much cheaper than the uk center parcs.
