Hotel Central Molitor is a little bit quirky, and I loved it for that. Venture up from the lobby to the first floor area, and you'll find a dainty lounge space with areas to both work and relax in relative privacy without having to stay inside your hotel room. The layout is a bit strange on the first couple of floors, owing to it being a bit older type of building and hotel, I imagine, and again, it was very cool to me because of this. My room was comfortable, if a touch small, but with a very nice bathroom, good air con, and nice views of Avenue de la Liberté; the main street which runs down to the Luxembourg train station less than a kilometre away. The location is very good for that reason. There are numerous restaurants directly across the street and in walking distance, while the Old Town is only about 10-15 minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very nice, though it should be noted there is no hot food served. Overall, it was good value for money. Other than a lack of hot options at breakfast, there was nothing wrong with Hotel Central Molitor. It is certainly somewhere I would happily stay again.

We stood for one night. The room was a good size for the 3 of us. We had a corner room. The bathroom was clean and also a good size with a tub. The breakfast was nicely stocked with a mix of foods. Over all a good stay.

Not worth your visit (or money) at all. It's not the fact that the hotel is old and dated, it's rather a matter of how poorly they have made an effort to keep up with time. You will be charged a high price for small rooms with basic, rather austere amenities, and you won't even feel comfortable. The rug in my room had this pungent smell, a crossing between humidity and dirty clothes, that could only be alleviated by opening the window for hours and enjoying the noisy street. This had to be done every day. The shower screen is way too small, so prepare to step on a wet floor after your shower. The hotel staff is nice, professional and attentive, and I was surprised at the quality of the breakfast. Sadly, it doesn't make up for all the rest.
