Central Square Heritage Hotel

The hotel is worth considering even just for its location in the Old Town of Split. The hotel is a part (2 floors) of an old building, but the rooms are spacious and well maintained. The parking off-site is available with prior reservation. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a good base for exploring Split.

A nice, clean hotel in the heart of Old Town with a one person receptionist. Large, clean and comfortable room in a building located right on the main square. Building has 3 floors, with each floor a different hotel. Central Square Heritage Hotel is on the 3rd floor. Entrance is at the side of the building, directly across from a gelato store. While it's not a full service hotel, you can't beat the perfect location to explore the old town and the harbor. If you are driving, an option is to use public outdoor parking Parkiraliste Stari Plac and walk 8 minutes to the hotel. EXTREMELY convenient location!!!

We traveled from Naples, Italy to Dubrovnik, Croatia over 2 weeks, we stayed in roughly 8 different hotels and this one by far was the worst experience we had in Europe (so if that tells you anything!) . Very rude and not helpful staff. This was the first time we encountered this in all of Europe and it really soured our stay. Beds were awful! They advertise parking, which when we arrived at check in time they said was not available and basically good luck finding parking elsewhere where and they had no idea what kind of cost we would encounter parking elsewhere. Gave us no instruction on how to get there. When we called to try and find it they were very rude. Offered us no parking instructions. Just over all so disappointing. Good luck trying to find it with no instruction. Yes, location is great, but I would not recommend staying here!
