Some points that may hotel work on it: One elevator was out of order so therr was some waiting time.
We travelled with our baby and the airline booked this hotel due to a technical delay in the flight. The staff were approachable and the customer service was great. They accommodated our needs and made the stay pleasant.
We were going through a very difficult time in our lives and decided to check into the hotel for a night, just to shift the atmosphere and bring a little joy to our two small children. They were finally smiling and having fun, swimming peacefully in the pool. I briefly stepped away to check out at the reception around 12 noon, leaving them in the care of their nanny. When I returned around 12:15, they were still happily playing. It felt like such a rare and needed moment of happiness for them, and I didn’t have the heart to cut it short. Just as I was watching them enjoy themselves, a staff member approached us and insisted that we leave immediately because we were no longer considered hotel guests. I tried to explain that the children were just finishing their swim, that we weren’t using any other facility, and that they were supervised. But the staff member showed no understanding or kindness. He didn’t seem to care at all that small children were involved or that it was just a few extra minutes. We’ve stayed in many hotels across Qatar over the years, and this is the first time we’ve ever been treated this way. A little compassion would have gone a long way. It may seem like a minor issue, but it turned what could have been a healing, happy day into a disappointing experience. Sadly, it left a lasting negative impression.
