If you’re booking with Ceylon Olive, you’re not just booking a room, you’re booking a home. This was definitely the most wonderful stay I had in Sri Lanka! The property is a family-owned business where every member of the family makes a genuine and caring effort to make you feel at peace, and cater to your needs. From the home-made Sri Lankan breakfast to the TukTuk driver readily available for you and the owner just being a text away to help you with anything, made my partner and I have a taste of Sri Lanka’s finest hospitality. The location is also perfect since you are located in the middle of several highlights in the Galle region. A million thanks to Kumudu, Era and all the others for the warmth and care, if I make it to Galle again, I will definitely come here!

Ceylon Olive is kind of boutique hotel, nestled in almost a forest like environment. It has a number of cottages arranged in a very imaginative manner to provide privacy and solitude. The service is excellent, personally supervised and monitored by the owner. Our family stay in December 2024 included two rooms and amenities provided were very good. The owner of the property takes a personal interest in the comfort and convenience of guests and is always eager to help in all kind of issues. The breakfast, particularly the authentic Sri Lankan variety is of excellent quality. It is bit off the main Galle road but still close (3 - 5 kms) to all the places - Dutch Fort Area, Unawatuna beach, Japanese Pagoda and others. Hikkaduwa beach is approximately 10 kms from Ceylon Olive. love to stay at this place whenever we make another visit to Galle.
