Really lovely place with lots of character but also relaxed. The owner and staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are huge, clean and well kept. The downstairs area includes a billiards room, large drawing room a bar and dinning area. The home cooked meals are fantastic for dinner and the breakfast is great. Highly recommended. Ignore the odd one star reviews. Apparently these are all from a disgruntled tradesman and his friends. They do not reflect the place at all.
Wonderful restored castle with superb decorated rooms. They just opened and we had the castle almost to ourselves. Nice food, great pool, lovely hosts.
Beautiful hotel with lovely staff who were welcoming and helpful and made our stay a joy. Highly recommended for a quiet stay in a setting with lots of character.
