We just came back from a fabulous wine tour. Etienne was a fantastic host and gave us a lot great explanation about how they make their wine and we tried a small glass of each type of wine. Delicious. We then got to have a quick tour of the chateau which is beautiful. I’ll definitely be encouraging any friends I know who are getting married to book the venue. It would be such a wonderful place for a wedding
Wonderful stay for the night before our LeBoat trip on the Baise River. Our rooms were very elegant. Breakfast was spectacular with our first French breads of our trip. We toured the winery, sampled, and bought. Our hosts provided us with a living room on the third floor for us to spread out our maps for our pre-trip meeting. We are used to paying close to $100 a bottle for this quality of wine, so the local prices were welcome and we bought a case to bring home.
This chateau is about as close to a castle as can be without having a mote around it. It was originally constructed in the 13th century. It is a wonderful BnB and event venue.
