Hotel was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the check-in experience was warm, fast, and professional. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully arranged—truly one of the best we’ve stayed in. The dinner buffet exceeded all expectations with an impressive variety of flavorful dishes. The breakfast buffet was equally remarkable, offering an Asian corner, English corner, and a salad corner something for every taste. The swimming pool was clean and inviting, surrounded by lush greenery that made the entire atmosphere calm and refreshing. The hotel also has a gym and spa for those looking to relax or stay active during their visit (we didn’t get the chance to try these, but they looked fantastic). Overall, Chaarya Hotel offers excellent service, great facilities, and a natural, peaceful setting. Whether you’re here for relaxation or exploration, this is a top choice in Tissamaharama. Highly recommended!

Very relaxing stay here, and the service was attentive. Good proximity to Yala National Park, and the facilities - including the pool, spa, and bar - were great. The food, however, wasn't as good compared to the rest of our experience here. Granted it's an affordable 5*, but we stayed at several 4*s in Sri Lanka with much better food served. Selection for savoury food was fairly limited, but they seemed to have a good selection of desserts. One of the best parts of the stay has to be the general manager - cannot praise him enough. Very attentive and welcoming, making our stay all the more comfortable!

We stayed at Chaarya Resort after visiting Hambantota, and I have to say – the place was beautiful, to say the least. For a hotel that’s marked as 5-star, the pricing was surprisingly reasonable. The rooms were clean and well-arranged, and all the expected amenities were available and in good condition. The only minor letdown was the dinner buffet. While the variety was there, the taste and quality of most dishes didn’t quite live up to the standard we’ve experienced at similar hotels. That said, the Sri Lankan dishes were delicious and clearly the highlight of the buffet. On the flip side, the breakfast buffet was impressive with a good selection and much better overall quality. All in all, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay and with just a bit more attention to the dinner buffet, it could be an even more wonderful experience. Would recommend it :)
