4* staff 3* hotel but location makes up for it. Ski in ski out but still walkable to town - location makes this place. And the amenable Mark Warner staff make the rest. The actual rooms are a bit tired but clean, warm and mattresses comfortable. Top tip - generally the vegetarian option is the most generous 😊
Very good kids nursery and facilities. Brilliant location next to the slopes and great view. All employees are very kind and did their best to make our stay pleasant. There is room to improve on the culinary side, food is OKish, but more than enough!
Great location - in town, ski in/ski out, and Mark Warner offer it at a very good price - a couple of thousand pounds cheaper than comparable alternatives. But it hasn't been decorated in 30 years, and the staff (e.g. kids club) do the minimum. The food and wine is pretty dismal quality, but you don't go hungry as long as you're not fussy. Recommended if you get a great price and you set your expectations closer to youth hostel than luxury hotel.
