Chamberlain West Hollywood

This was a perfect hotel for my first visit to LA! Rooms were clean, pool was beautiful, and staff was super friendly + helpful. Great value for the price. Will definitely stay again!

We had a great 2 nights stay at the Chamberlain West Hollywood. The room (227) was clean and very comfortable — I slept incredibly well thanks to the super comfy bed. The location is excellent: tucked away in a quiet spot, but still within walking distance to everything in West Hollywood. A few downsides: We booked a suite expecting a bit more, but it was on the first floor with no real view and no chairs or setup on the balcony, which felt like a missed opportunity. We also spent quite a bit of time at the rooftop bar — it’s charming but quite small and lacks enough seating, especially during busy times. Overall, a great experience and I’d stay again, just with different room expectations.

It's not a cheap hotel I received an email in a few days before check in offering an upgrade for another $79 a night I went ahead and thought I would treat myself. They were able to send an email regarding an upgrade, but didn't bother sending an email that the rooftop pool was closed construction. The pool was the main reason we paid $150 more per night stay at this hotel. We will woken up early Friday morning with construction noise and the pool was closed or a tire stay. The manager refunded the resort fee and did give us discount parking. However we could have stayed at some more locations without a pool for significantly less money. I request the upgrade fee refunded as well but the manager said no. I strongly Believe the compensation provided with any work near what was appropriate. The pictures of the pool are spectacular... Even though you pay for the pool Super disappointed with the hotel and the stay. Airbnb is a much better option in my opinion- save a few hundred dollars a night. Update: The hotel reached out after receiving my review and did refund the room upgrade charges and associated taxes. I have been assured that management is reviewing communicating in advance with guests when construction and or maintenance impact the hotels amenities.
