I spent about 2 hours or more online scouring for a hotel at the last minute for me and my family. I have never liked hotels simply because of the sheer volume of people that use a hotel room and you will never know how much effort was taken to clean it thoroughly, and I will always feel that way. I read all the reviews and I carefully look at the pictures, I see if the hotel responds to reviews too especially the negative ones. I said a prayer and finally settled on this hotel. I was so relieved when we arrived, I love that there is security on site, the hotel and the hotel room were clean, and there was free parking, and the location is good too. Overall a very good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Top selling point for me every time for any hotel is cleanliness. No hotel will be perfect, but I do feel like Champions puts in the effort. Thank you!
I visited this hotel because it was close to my dentist's office. Ended up joining the Poker club, although I don't know how to play poker yet. The chicken egg rolls are great. The rooms are nice and clean. The only issue is there is NO microwave. The workers at the front desk were very nice. The bartender Deja was sweet and accommodating. Once I learn how to play Poker, I will be back.
I was initially excited to stay at this hotel for a 3-night stay. The lobby aesthetic was beautiful, and the bar staff during the evening were pleasant. However, there were several things that didn’t meet expectations. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find metal detectors at the entrance due to high security around poker nights this gave the property a very different vibe than I anticipated. The guest room bathrooms were in need of attention noticeable caulking was missing, and there was no exhaust fan, which seemed like an odd oversight. What concerned me most was the unprofessional behavior I witnessed during my stay. A front desk supervisor was seen roaming the property late at night inappropriately dressed, which gave off a very unpolished and “ghetto” impression not something I expected from this hotel. Additionally, many of the hotel staff appeared to be living onsite, sleeping in the rooms, which made the environment feel less guest-focused. Overall, this property has potential, but management should consider hiring professional, service oriented staff who reflect the upscale image the hotel is trying to project.
