Chanalai Garden Resort Kata Beach

We chose this hotel at the last minute and we are so happy we did. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Beautiful resort and great breakfast. Excellent location, and the rooms were super comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again. We always found chairs by the pool, and the guests were a nice, diverse mix of nationalities. Best part were the family of cats that lived there. :-) Elevators were slow and hard to get. We were in the building next to the main hotel, so we didn't have any issues with distance, but I did notice the building behind us would be tough in the rain. A few more pool chairs would be helpful as even though we always found a chair, it was pretty full. Update the gym to more weight training equipment.

Nice place, staff is lovely. They have two pools and bars, their bar prices are pretty reasonable, considering it's a hotel. Location is close to Kata Beach, where people go for surfing. 7/11 right in front. Overall I was happy. I just didn't like the stairs... They have numerous elevators, but it can be a bit confusing at first. The view from the room is nice, however.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Will definitely recommend it and stay there again. The breakfast is amazing and the rooms have a beautiful view. Their welcoming drink, ice cream and cold towel makes you feel refreshed. They could just work on small things regarding the cleaning service as one day our cups were not cleaned and for 2 days they did not give us hand towels even though I phoned for it to be delivered, it never arrived. If you dont like steps do not book this hotel because ypu have to take 3 flights stairs and x2 lifts to get to your room.
