The overall experience is wonderful. The structure of this resort is unique but that alone is the most difficult aspect for its clients especially if they are elderly. But the view on each of the four terraces is enough to ease your muscle aches. The staff are warm and cater to all our requests. Overall the stay will be a beautiful memory☺️

Lovely property...well decorated, with large rooms with splendid view. Our room even has a Jacuzzi! The property has an walking trail with artificial waterfall. The food served at the restaurant and in the room was excellent. Service prompt and attentive.

We booked it given its 5 star rating but after check in, the behaviour of the hotel staff and seeing the room made me feel like a 1 star hotel. We had booked the room for 2 days and had paid 50% in advance for it. But during check in the manager asked us to complete the payment. I told him that I have a wallet in my luggage. I will make the full payment in 1-2 hours after entering the room. But he said no, this is the policy of my hotel and you will have to make the full payment. Then I explained to him that I have just returned after a 5 hour long hill journey and my wallet is in the luggage. Can't you stay for 1 hour? Then after a long heated discussion he agreed. But this was a spoiler for my family .So I decided after going to the room that I will not stay here for more than one day. I asked him to cancel the booking for me for next day . It was only cancelled partially as they kept mentioning policy as blocker. But the hotel experience was real bad for some one who is first time in Munnar and treated like this in a five star property . Would also like to add this warning for those travelling with young kids , the balcony of this hotel is very dangerous as open in bottom sloping outside and enough space for a the child to slip through it and fall down. The hotel management must take care of this !
