One of the finest hotels in Edinburgh. 3 Attached Georgian houses with distinguished style and poise. Excellent rooms, breakfast and service. Furnishing an decoration beautiful Victorian style. Parking is very limited. Offer shuttle service.

The room was very quiet with comfortable beds and a very large bathroom. Be prepared for no AC if you are used to that noise. It is Scotland, so opening a window keeps it cool enough. The hotel is located in the new town, so make sure you are willing to walk 30 minutes to get to the Royal Mile area, or get a cab. You can also get a bus pass. The staff is great. Restaurant crew was awesome.

Good reception services. clean, good restaurant service, but it is a hotel house full of carpets, no air-condition, no porter you have to serve your self with your luggage, tiny one left does not reach the basement where the restaurant there, tiny passageway, small rooms, very small breakfast room. In my opinion guests are getting less for their money and according to my travel experience I rate this hotel as three stars not four stars comparing to other four stars hotels in the world.
