CHAO Sanlitun Beijing

So glad I took a friend's recommendation to stay here. Great little hotel (especially compared to the monstrosities on Wangfujing) in a quieter but lovely part of central Beijing. Excellent breakfasts. Spacious rooms and great adjoining concept if you're travelling with kids.

If you ever find yourself in Beijing, do not go past this absolute gem of a boutique hotel. It is absolutely perfect in every way. The location is right in the action in Sanlitun. Close to plenty of bars and restaurants— though you might not want to leave the Chao Club and its incredible service and cocktails. The staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything. The rooms are large and spacious. My favourite part was all the incredible little touches: from chocolates and fresh fruit in your room on arrival, an amazing minibar selection, collections of carefully curated books— the attention to detail blew me away. The gym is great with lots of new equipment. My only criticism is no pool which for a hotel of this quality you would probably expect but everything else made up for it. All in all, 10/10. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this cute little place to anyone I know on a trip to China’s capital.

Highly recommend . Great location , few mins walk to San Li Tun . Every single staff I came across , from house keeping , front desk , bell boy , restaurant provide excellent service !! Room are spacious and clean btw
