Chapel Pod

I was looking for a place to max out on sleep, rest, peace and quiet after a busy few days and this was perfect. The location felt quite remote, accessible via narrow country lanes full of pheasants, and with beautiful green countryside all around. I booked through AirBnB but didn't notice from my booking that this was the same place as Higher Chapel Farm Bed and Breakfast. Jean was very welcoming, with a cake awaiting me in my room, and some helpful insights on the local National Trust places I was considering visiting. Good food was available in the evening from the Who'd Have Thought It Inn, just a mile or so up the road. I had a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed followed by a delicious full breakfast in the morning. I'lll definitely be back!

Amazing place! We have spent the last week in this amazing pod. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Underfloor heating & a super comfy bed. We were greated with fresh milk & a cream tea in the fridge on arrival. The host Jean is lovely as us Kim the dog who visited us frequently. We would highly recommend staying here.

This is such a great place to stay but I would suggest to come over in the summer. Everything is nice but a little bit too much damp in places which is fair enough in a wooden pod. Everything you need is there. One thing missing is definitely a wood burner. It would make it a 5 stars I reckon but I agree with the owner when she said some people may not know how to use one.
