Loved our stay! The room was clean, spacious, and had the most comfortable bed. The highlight was definitely the slide in the pool so much fun, even though the pool itself is on the smaller side.
We had a 2 queen bed room. On arrival the front desk person was very nice and welcoming. Room was clean, a little cold but the heater was easy enough to use. Kids enjoyed the pool and slide of course. Breakfast area was clean and organized. Staff was ready and available for the breakfast as well. The price was very reasonable and location is great. All kinds of stores and food options nearby.
I’ve read some of the 1/5 reviews and they’re extremely picky. This is a “3 Star Hotel” that has a rating of 4.5/5, and for good reasons. We had a King Suite and the room was very clean. It had the basics: a fridge, microwave, even a kitchen sink which is not very common unless you had a Studio room. Was the bed the absolute softest? No. But this isn’t the Algonquin Resort in St Andrews. It was still decent, I slept great. Basic television. The remote says YouTube on it but there’s no ability to watch YouTube. Having the ability to Bluetooth your phone to the TV to watch something from your phone would be nice. But again this is a 3 Star Hotel. With the basic channels you can find something to watch, or just bring your own laptop and HDMI cable. The staff were awesome and friendly. I called ahead and requested Down Free pillows (wife’s allergy) and they had it set up for when we arrived. Just down to earth when you talk to them too. The free breakfast was delicious. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, bagels, English muffins, juice, cereal, etc. Pool is great. Is it the biggest of all hotels in Fredericton? No. But it’s still decent. The slide is awesome. If you lay flat on your back as you go down you feel like you’re on the Olympic Skeleton Team. This hotel was phenomenal. If I ever have another little getaway with the wife in Fredericton, we’ll be staying at the Chateau Fredericton.
