Chateau Hotel

Great high quality food; exceptionally helpful staff who made every effort to see that we were comfortable in the hotel and also gave us great advice on where to make trips both in and out of Bansko. Breakfast is available until midday which is excellent, you can relax without having to rush in for breakfast by 10:30 like in many vacation hotels. Dinner is also served from early evening until late at night. Comfortable and spacious rooms with very good air-conditioning. Five minutes from the Bansko Cable Car.

Perfect place for Shomer Shabbos couple, family, or group. Davening, great food, and excellent location in Bansko. The owner, Yaakov and the staff, go out of their way to help in any way they can, with special arrangements, tours, all kinds of advice, and in several languages. Very comfortable.

We were here 'off season', the hotel was mostly empty. We took a "room with a view", and the view was spectacular. Bottom line: we've stayed in four kosher hotels in Europe, this is by far the best. More detail: The building is a bit run down in places, and the bathtub is hard to get in and out of (as in many east-europe hotels). That's it on the 'down side'. On the 'up side': The food is great and plentiful, the rooms are clean, there is a handrail in the tub (but still, a bit hard to get in and out), plenty of hot water and the bathroom doesn't flood (not to be taken for granted in any hotel). the staff is helpful and friendly. The shul is nice and there is a good Torah library. We didn't stay for shabat so can't say how it is. Prices are reasonable for a kosher hotel in Europe.
