What an amazing hotel, absolutely gorgeous location, ideal for a weekend getaway from the hustling city life. Lots of greenery and nice walking paths in nature. Highly recommend the restaurant on site. Clean rooms, incredible staff, especially the head barman at the bar in the evenings. Can't wait to go back.
This was the best hotel experience I have had in the Netherlands to date. Such a splendid location with an amazing spa, pool and sauna on site. This was a real treat! The service is fantastic and they did a tremendous job in renovating the rooms while still maintaining the chateau's traditional façade and themes. The bar is well stocked and although it's expensive, they have delicious cocktails. For breakfast, it was a welcome surprise that most items on the menu were fresh ingredients. This was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel, well done!
The room was fine. A bit pricy, but well maintained and spacious. The surroundings are beautiful. My room was at the back of the building where the machinery is located. Sleeping with the window open was a no go - way too much noise. My biggest complaint is the breakfast, what costs €30 extra. I had the worst oily egg ever. All the ingredients of the buffet where of a substandard level. I expected more from a hotel of this level. Room for improvement : )
