An absolute gem of a hotel. Previously my wife and I have stayed at different hotels as we hadn't been able to find one we really liked. However, after our recent stay at "Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao", we can now confidently say we have found our new "go to" hotel whenever we visit the area. Initially there was a very minor misunderstanding between one of the night staff and I that was mostly due to my ignorance. While it was a minor misunderstanding, Mr. Chewin Mitpirom and his team of staff spent the ENTIRE rest of the day treating my wife and I like VIP guests to make up for what was my mistake to begin with. They treated us to a lovely tour of the Golf course and made a couple special stops, one which included some delicious and refreshing drinks prepared by some of the friendliest staff I've ever encountered in my life, they even encouraged us to pose for some pictures and treated us so well I felt the need to get a picture with them during the tour. At the end of the tour, Mr. Mitpirom spoke with us to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we might have and to see us off personally, something that just gave the entire experience a feeling of "genuineness" that I haven't felt in many other places my wife and I have had the privilege of staying. You can tell by the way the staff at the hotel interact with their manager and customers that they are genuinely happy to work there, which is felt in the services provided and gives that "extra" touch to an already fantastic stay. While this hotel is located in a remote area, whether you're a golfer or just a nature lover like myself, "Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao" is hands down the best hotel in chantaburi and an absolute MUST VISIT.
