Checkin Montserrat

A clean and modern hotel located in a quiet mountainous area with lots of fresh air. The hotel specializes in hosting small to medium-sized corporate events, so it was the perfect hotel in the area for a large family gathering attending a wedding. The rooms were spacious and clean with modern bathroom fixtures (loved the rain-style shower with plenty of hot water) and appliances such as large TV and mini-fridge, (but no microwave). The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean. The bathroom had non-slip tiles and a square, ceramic sink and stopper that was large enough for me to wash a few clothes. The hotel is a little out of the way, so I may not recommend it for tourists visiting Barcelona, but it's the perfect venue for corporate events or family gatherings that are not necessarily tourist-related.

I led a group of 46 adults and students on a school trip. We stayed here March 25-26, 2025. It was in a beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains and close enough to Barcelona. The staff were helpful. Excellent breakfast with many options. The rooms were clean with some having balconies to take in the views. There was a game room for the students to gather, play billiards, play cards, games or just hang out.

This is said as an American in a tour group, but this place is terrible. It would be 1 star if the people weren't so nice and breakfast was amazing, I loved the waffles. There were stains in the room, paint was peeling, and the bathroom had clear windows in it! There was a semi opaque strip in the big window to the bathroom, but you could see above and below. Even worse is that there was a full-length mirror that, from my bed, could see inside the bathroom. The room walls were thin, and I could hear the rooms next to us. I could see this being a pretty good hotel for couples, but do not go for just like friends or tour groups.
