Chen JIA Garden Hotel Yangshuo

My daughter and I stayed there over the weekend (for 2 nights). It was a very pleasant experience: the place is very tranquile and nicely designed. the personal is very knowledgeable, speak sufficient or even good English and are eager to help and advise. Following the manager's advice, i took a 4-hour guided tour on a scooter with an English speaking guide. This gave me the opportunity to explore the nature as well as rural autontic villages. The area is extremely beautiful and provides unique views. I recommend going at night to Yangshou night's market that includes many interesting shops and activities. We gad 2 dinners and breakfasts at the hotel and the food was very tasty. We certainly would like to go back there. Shira and Ron.

My husband and I traveled around China recently for 3 weeks and Ancient Garden is our favourite hotel. Our room was big, a comfortable bed, clean and a beautiful bathroom. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Gave us lots of local information and even went out to buy some fresh coconuts for us. They have bikes you can borrow for free. We had an early departure and Sophia arranged for us to have an early breakfast. This is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff especially Sophia, Amber, Rebecca, Cathy and Sara. Highly recommend. Fully surrounded by plants and trees, it is beautiful and natural. It is quiet and peaceful so you will enjoy it if this is the vibe you are looking for.
