Chenmao Nanyueyuan Hotel

Stayed for a week in July on a work trip, and this has quickly become my favorite Marriott property in all of China. First off, AC works impeccably well which is beyond appreciated in the hot/humid Beijing summer. I was able to get the room to 17.5°C which is SO rare these days, and has made for some great sleep in my igloo. Staff is super kind and accommodating, with plenty of people that speak English for any questions/concerns. Food delivery robots are very cool and make ordering 饿了么 / 美团 super easy. Executive lounge is also fantastic - can get crowded at times but the food is generally very good in quality/taste. I especially appreciated the raw veggies / ranch dressing which gives me a little taste of being back in the states halfway across the world. They have a full (free) bar from 6-8, with any liquor/wine/beer you could dream of. Rooms are very nice, spacious, and recently renovated, with very comfy beds. Location is convenient to major highways, metro stations, and in walking distance of good food/drink/massage spots. Overall an impeccable hotel at a great price point. Highly recommend booking this property - it is now the only hotel I will book in Beijing moving forward. Thank you to the entire Sheraton Dongcheng team for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Stayed for a week in June on business. Hotel location is okay, right next to a subway station that you can go to city, either airport and onto main lines....also area has a small mall with restaurants Hotel was 5 star...but actually lower grade now. Staff friendly, rooms a good size and clean. Restaurants in Hotel are a bit limited...but many choices outside. Probably would stay again as easy to get to the convention center.

We spent a week staying at this place. Other than one thing which I’ll mention later is all good. The service is excellent. The room is roomy and clean. The location is very ideal for us too. The thing I want to complain is the man’s locker room. Not the gym. The gym is top notch. But somehow the locker room is outdated and to the point of dirty and needed repair. Of course I could not take photo of it to show you, but its condition is like a completely on a different level compared to the other amenities in this hotel. At the bare minimum, have someone clean all the glasses. They are filthy. Well, other than this, a nice place to stay.
