We had the pleasure of spending a few unforgettable days at Cherhana Resort in the Danube Delta, and I can truly say it was one of the most relaxing and rewarding family getaways we’ve ever had. Tucked away in the middle of nature, the resort offers a huge, green open space, where only a handful of guests are accommodated at a time – which makes it feel peaceful, intimate, and truly exclusive. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel your stress melting away. We were there with our 9-year-old child, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for families. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially when it came to making sure the kids felt at home. There’s plenty of room to run, play, and explore, and the pool area was a definite highlight – spacious, clean, and surrounded by greenery. The rooms are large, very comfortable, and quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep after a day of activities. Everything feels thoughtfully designed to blend into the natural surroundings without compromising on comfort. One of the most special aspects of Cherhana is the local food – absolutely delicious, made from fresh, natural ingredients, and prepared right there on-site. Every meal was a treat, and you could taste the authenticity and care that went into the cooking. If you’re into fishing, there are great opportunities to enjoy it in a calm, beautiful setting, and the resort can help arrange it all for you. In short, Cherhana Resort is a little slice of paradise for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Cherhana Resort in the Danube Delta is the perfect place for relaxation and exploration. The rooms are comfortable, and the outdoor pool adds a touch of luxury. The traditional fish-based cuisine is delicious, with fresh and authentic dishes. Boat trips through the Delta’s canals perfectly complement the experience. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway in the heart of nature!

Beautiful location and nice rooms. Very good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Service at the restaurant is good and friendly. Service and management of the hotel is bad, not friendly, even no "hello". Reception (Anna) via WhatsApp or phone was not friendly and not helpful. They promised to have bikes, but they were broken. They promised to have a good Guide for nature trips, but there was none.
