Cherry Sculpture Hotel

Chery Sculpture Hotel is in a great location to explore some of the more remote parts of Portugal. The food was very good. The hotel is newly refurbished and has a cool vibe. The Cherry rooms were fun and cozy.

The rooms themselves are excellent, clean tidy and well laid out, the staff are friendly and attentive....possibly a little too attentive on occasions: The checking in process for example really does go above and beyond! Locations is good, the facilities are good, the price of the room is good value and the restaurant serves good food, but I thought it was a bit over priced, not so much that I felt ripped off, but I certainly came away thinking I'd spent a lot more than I expected on diner. The room we were in’s windows look into the pool area, but were essentially at floor hight at pool level meaning that if you had the blinds open anyone lying on a lounger could look straight into your room. If you are staying I recommend asking for a room on the first floor as we had to spend our time there with the curtains drawn! I wish I had booked on of the cherries to stay in! They look fabulous once you are there.

This place has great potential. Our room was amazing! The only thing that let this hotel down were the staff. To be greeted with a smile would of been nice. And also they seem clueless... It's a new hotel so maybe the staff need a bit more training.
