Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

A wonderful stay in a truly luxurious setting. The room was enormous, and well appointed, offering a lovely view over the croquet lawn. The dining was outstanding, with food that matched the high standards of the hotel. The conference facilities were excellent, making it an ideal location for both business and leisure. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the kitchen garden is a particular highlight – both charming and inspiring. A perfect blend of comfort, class, and natural beauty.

Just visited with friends for the afternoon tea £49 and Twilight Spa Package £169. We had a wonderful time, food was delicious, pool was great and the massage by Amy was amazing! Best I have ever had. All staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our friends bought us an afternoon tea voucher which we used in Feb 25. Upon arrival first we were taken into the garden room and then told to leave and wait in the bar as it wasn't ready. The room is quite nice and the food is very good. The constant passage of people in bathrobes also is a bit off putting when everyone has made an effort to dress up!! Downsides staff were either training or lacking in skill, leaning across us, chewing gum, then left us with no cutlery. We spent half the time chasing either more tea/ coffee etc.. not what I would expect at all from a top hotel. Perhaps my hopes were too high?
