Chiangkhan River Walk Hotel

Beautiful hotel. We booked a deluxe river view room for 3 nights. Perfect views across the Mekong. Could have happily relaxed on the balcony all day. Right on the walking street so even at the back of the hotel there’s some noise, particularly on the weekend, but this is the same for all of Chiang Khan in the centre. You can walk right out the hotel into the night markets, shopping and restaurants. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Car park was in the next street, only a 2 minute walk. You can stop outside the hotel before the road closes to cars before 5pm and in the mornings to load/unload. It worked well. Breakfast was fine, tasty eggpan plus fruit and toast etc. Good coffee. Would definitely come back to both Chiang Khan and this hotel.

Very clean and still brand new accommodation... promotional prices are attractive and well worth it if they fit your budget. All the hardwares used in the property are of high standards, including mattress, lighting , and toilet. The only problem found during our stay was the noise coming possibly from the water pump and the dripping water from the air-con. But with the comfy bed, we didn't find the noise so much of the issue. If you are looking for a modern room to stay in Chiang khan right next to the walking street and by the side of river khong, we highly recommend this place.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. I'll start with the positives. Great location right on walking street, very clean and the beds are comfortable. The negatives. I didn't find the staff helpful. "Is there a place to get a burger nearby", reply "7/11".....😩..No smiles and one girl looked at me like I was dirt. The room smelt of damp, solution spray it, which helped for 1hr before the smell returned. Our room was tiny with no windows. I've stayed in hotels all around the world. I've never stayed in a 4* place where you have to clear your own breakfast dishes. Finally for me, way overpriced at 2,800 baht for 1 night. I won't be returning.
