Chic & Basic Gravity

We absolutely loved our stay at Chic&Basic in Porto. The hotel has a fun, unconventional style, with great attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The bathrooms have glass doors and are partially open-plan; we were traveling as a family with children, but our quadruple room was actually two connecting rooms, so there were no privacy issues with the bathroom. The staff are friendly and attentive. We especially enjoyed the breakfast: beautifully presented, varied, and of excellent quality, with fresh fruit and juices, delicious pastries, and high-quality savory options. The location is excellent—set in a charming, lively neighborhood full of restaurants. All the main attractions are within walking distance. There’s also parking with a charging station for electric cars. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city – walking distance from everything, surrounded by incredible restaurants (all rated over 4.5 stars!). You can feel the city’s charm the moment you step outside. The breakfast is rich and delicious, with fresh options and great variety every morning. What really made this stay unforgettable, though, were the daily surprises waiting in the room – a bottle of wine, homemade cakes, and even a handwritten note. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that make you feel truly welcomed and cared for. The design is modern yet warm, the staff are attentive and kind, and the atmosphere is relaxed but elegant.
