Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile

This hotel was the perfect location for all the things I wanted to do in Chicago! The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, I really enjoyed the view of Michigan Ave from my high floor room, I even enjoyed the decor of the lobby area with the bar. My favorite thing was the cinnamon rolls on the buffet in the harvest restaurant! So delicious and I will definitely be back for those. My server Armando was truly amazing too.

As working in Hospitality this hotel is my go to and this time around I wanted to actually write a review. The location is always great being on the Mag Mile, cleanliness is always spot on and the service is A1. I wanted to give a shout out to Miranda! She is the definition of excellent customer service! Thank you for making my friend’s birthday weekend a great start getting our rooms in early. Definitely will be back!

No matter what the reviews say, people will still book this hotel. The hotel itself was okay. The location was good, close to shops and restaurants. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but it felt a bit old. The walls were thin, so I could hear other guests. The staff were friendly, though service was sometimes slow. The Wi‑Fi was not very strong. Overall, it was a decent stay, but overpriced. I’d recommend looking at other hotels before paying a high amount for this one.
