Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge

Great hotel. Excellent service from everyone. Very good food and friendly bar staff. Our room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was very small by it was fine. The location is great and in a safe area.

The room was a little outdated. But we stayed before catching a flight out of midway airport. We booked this place cause my kids wanted to swim and I wanted to sit in the jacuzzi. The kid said the pool was nice but it was too cold for me. But once you turned the jets on, you got splashing all in your face. The jet so bad we had to turn them off just to relax. In my opinion I will find a better hotel.

Location would have been great, never got to stay there. Canceled my reservation, was coming in next week and staying 6 nights. I get an email on the 29th the their pool and hot tub are going under maintenance from May 25th until June 10th . Mind you received the email yesterday. They informed me they have a sister property Springhill suites and to go there to use their pool, no hot tub. So I was supposed to pack up my 90 year old mother and take her there. No way, the reason I booked the hotel was for convenience for everything, restaurants and pool. Plus who revamps these things during peak season, when people want to use these amenities. Been to lots of Marriott hotels, and this one was the only disappointing one. So if you plan to stay at this location be forewarned on these dates. I Canceled and booked elsewhere that will meet our needs. The closing email was thanks for understanding. Understand what but seek other arrangements. Yes I got the memo and canceled. Thanks for understanding from a Marriott member. Major disappointment 😞
