Oh my word, where do I even start with this place. It is an absolute GEM! Located up in the hills and only a 10 min drive form the train station where you can get to Bologna and Florence. Gabriele and Irene are just the most fabulous hosts telling us all about the surrounding wildlife and nature and providing home baked cakes for breakfast every morning. We hiked for two hours around the hills by literally walking from our room accompanied by their mountain dog Mia. We also had some problem with the toll roads that Gabriele went above and beyond to help us with even after we had to leave. I cannot recommend enough, it is a beautiful, special place. Grazie Mille!
