A truly exceptional stay. Our recent visit to Chileno Bay Resort exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the warmth annd attention to detail from the entire team made us feel genuinely welcomed. The property is stunning, beautifully maintained, and perfectly integrated with its natural surroundings. Every space—from the pool to the restaurants—reflects thoughtfulness and high standards. What truly stood out was the consistency in service: attentive, friendly, and seamless throughout our stay. It's clear that there's a strong culture of hospitality behind every interaction. We left with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to return soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, relaxing, and truly special experience in Los Cabos. Thank you all.
My wife and I stayed at Chileno Bay to celebrate our babymoon and we had the most amazing time here! The hotel was so modern and chic. The room was beautifully decorated and had so many little touches that really elevated the experience. I was checked in at the reception by Madeleine and Andrea, who were extremely friendly and sweet. My wife flew in separately and her flight was delayed and the staff got on the phone with the airline company to get an update which was really above and beyond. Our concierge, Eduardo, was so helpful and constantly checking up on us. He moved multiple dinner reservations around for us even when we were dining at other hotel restaurants! He also put together this really cute arrangement for us one of the nights to congratulate us on the pregnancy. We ate at Comal restaurant for breakfast and dinner which had immaculate views / vibes. Our waiters Orlando and Daniel were really personable and friendly. Will be returning for sure!
We booked an extremely last minute trip to get out of the rainy Houston weather (booked it on a friday for a monday arrival). Our go to resort (Las Ventanas) was booked so we decided to try Chileno Bay Resort. We've been going to Cabo for 15+ years and in the past few years have driven by the gorgeous golf course at Chileno Bay and decided now was the time to try it. FYI - the course is private and you have to stay at the resort to play their golf course. The golf course was beautiful - everything was well maintained and the 2 caddies we had were great! Now onto the hotel: 1.) Grounds - beautiful and well maintained 2.) Room - we had an ocean view room - the view of the ocean was a little comical. We were on the bottom floor so the view was more garden, pool, and a little bit of the ocean. The lightening in the bathroom was probably the worst lighting I have ever encountered - it was extremely dim. So much so that I mentioned it to another guest at the pool - she said the lightening in her bathroom was fine, so maybe it was just our room? The rest of the room was fine. One thing to note - they have complimentary snacks (popcorn, plantains, and corn nuts) but be aware that once you consume them - they will not be refilled - which I found a little odd at a high end resort. 3.) Pool - there are 3 pools - we only visited the adults only pool. It was nice - never had a hard time to finding a spot and the service at the pool was attentive but not overbearing. 4.) Restaurants - YAYA was great - we ate there twice because the food and service was so good. TNT - had lunch at the pool there a few times - food and drinks were good. Comal - this is the only sit down restaurant on property that serves breakfast and I think because of that they have a huge service issue. Every single day it was a struggle to get water, coffee, and juice. One morning I waited over 15 min for a cup of coffee - I finally just grabbed my cup and went over to the coffee station and helped myself. It was very frustrating -perhaps they should up the number of staff for breakfast to try to alleviate some of the service struggles. We also ate there for dinner and did not have the same service issues. 5.) Concierge - our designated concierge Fernanda was wonderful! She was extremely responsive and helped us with several issues/requests. 6.) Experiences - we were there over the 4th of July holiday. They had a beach BBQ - it was an extremely cute set up but the food was a disappointment. We didn't realize it was a buffet - if we knew that, we would have skipped it. Also, we are from Texas so it is hard to compete with our BBQ. But the decor, drinks, and band were great! Overall - will we go back? Probably not, unless my husband wants to play the golf course again. There are too many high end hotels in the area with exceptional service that are well worth the money.
