Chillax Resort

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect; a 7/11 just around the corner and a nice street nearby with small local restaurants. It’s about a 10-minute walk to another lively area, and also not too far from Khao San Road. The hotel is in a quieter part of the city, but still well-connected and easy to reach other places using GRAB. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with enough variety. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the air conditioning was quite noisy at night.

Very good price/services ratio. The staff is quite nice. The gym could use a renovation or upgrade regarding the equipment. Nice massages for reasonable price. Sometimes I had issue with water pressure in the shower and the jacuzzi was not working. The AC is a must all year long. Very nice neighborhood with many options for dinner.

Great location, spacious (even with the baby crib in it) and clean rooms. We requested late check-out at the check-in and the receptionist made us pay half of the rate of a deluxe room, even though we booked a superior room and the rate was much lower. He explained that they actually gave us an upgrade because the hotel is fully booked. But once we entered the room, it looked exactly the same like the superior room that we booked, so basically we got fooled. I saw another review with similar experience, so it's probably something that they often use to charge their guests more. Today morning we came at 6am to have a breakfast because we were going on a tour early, but more than half of the buffet was not ready even though breakfast officially starts at 6am. The waitress was very friendly tho and gave us a box to pack some food. Also the pizza from the hotel restaurant was a joke, but we didn't have other choice where to eat since it was raining heavily.
