Chobe Princesses By Mantis

We really loved our time aboard the Chobe Princess 1. Everything was arranged very well, from the delicious food to all the excursions. The bar was also well stocked and we enjoyed some nice cocktails during sunset. The staff was amazing and very attentive. We had a lovely cabin at front of the boat with a spacious balcony. Right from the start we could see a big heard of elephants, so that was very special. We saw lots of other wildlife during our boat trips. It was great to combine the Ichingo Lodge with our stay on the Chobe Princess, both are very unique experiences.

I spent 3 nights on the Chobe Princess with my sister, and it was honestly one of the most special trips we've ever taken together. From start to finish, everything was seamless, relaxed, warm, and quietly luxurious in the best possible way. Chef Jane’s food was absolutely out of this world. Every meal felt like something you'd get at a top restaurant. Alfred, our guide, was brilliant. He’s a man of few words, but when he does speak, you listen because he knows exactly what he’s doing. One evening, just before sunset, he positioned the boat perfectly for an elephant crossing. We watched, in complete awe, as they moved through the water, totally undisturbed. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, he quietly pointed out lions on the riverbank - waiting, watching. It was the kind of sighting that I’ll never forget. Obert, our captain, and Robert, our host, were also fantastic - warm, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed, without it ever feeling intrusive. If you’re looking for something truly special, where nature does all the talking and the people behind the experience get everything just right, I can’t recommend the Chobe Princess highly enough.

We were a family of 7 and had the most relaxing and special two days on the Chobe Princess II. Our hosts were very friendly, and we learned a lot while on the water safaris. We were treated with the most amazing cuisine! Thank you so much. An experience we will always cherish and remember!
