I had a very pleasant 6 day stay at the Chopin hotel in Lviv. The staff was outstanding the food was delicious and the location was right in the middle of Old Town. Lots of sights to see and things to do. Looking forward to coming back
Very cozy place and expensive as for Ukraine. For European people it won't be the case. The meals are ordinary however very well served. The place is clean and has very good choice of wine, mostly overpriced from local region. The french and Italian wine are very expansive. Manu has traditional meals with good combination of souses. Cons, on the terrace many people smoke and makes the restaurant unpleasant to stay when you want to enjoy the food. However I think the waitress should be more educated to stop such people. The restaurant is not the place for smoking. However it might come later with understand. Cheers.
The restaurant looks nice but was extremely noisy due to a lots of kids running around. The food was OK taste-wise overall, but very fat (just for your understanding - the least fatty main course was duck breast). The salmon was still partially frozen (you could crunch some ice with your teeth) when served on the plate. The tomatoes in the salad had the same grainy texture which suggests they might have been frozen as well. Why would you freeze the salmon thought??? The service was poor, the servers are rare at your table and and dodged our comments regarding the food.
