Christiania Mountain & Spa

Excellent hotel and location, with magnificent views of the Matterhorn. Food is very good and wine selection too. The whole team including restaurant, reception, housekeeping, porters,spa are all very friendly and efficient. All speak English. Family run hotel and would highly recommend it for ski and hiking holidays.

This was, by far, the best hotel we've stayed in during our 2-week trip! We missed the first night due to a landslide taking it the tracks on St Niklaus but arrived early the next morning as they had a bus replacement for the outage. The hotel was so kind, keeping in touch as we figured out the train, to bus, to train detour and Bruno was at the train station well beyond the time we should have arrived! Check-in was simple and it room was ready since we went there the previous night. We were able to get breakfast and then hit the town running. The room was incredible, the Matterhorn view we reserved and that is what we went to bed to and woke to each morning. We used the pool, hit tub, heated seats and just relaxed one afternoon before dinner... Amazing spa! The staff was incredibly kind and work very hard! We would see them at check-in, working breakfast and dinner... Then the next day at breakfast, ask with a smile!

Very close to the ski facilities, easy access to the slopes. The rooms are spacious and offer a superb view of the Matterhorn. Very rich breakfast and friendly staff. Large pool and spa area with everything you need after a dynamic day of skiing. I recommend this hotel, we will return.
