I stayed here solo and had a really lovely experience 🌿 The guest house is set in a peaceful village with a beautiful, well-kept garden — perfect for relaxing, and a real country cottage vibe. Plenty of parking. Church Farm Guest House was an ideal base to explore Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, and the surrounding countryside. There was even a Fete in the village while I stayed; a friendly community spirit here, enjoying the space Sandie, the host, was warm and welcoming, clearly passionate about the area and offering a great guest experience. She suggested local walking routes and places to visit and eat. Breakfast was excellent — homemade quality with a range of options. The fresh bread and homemade marmalade were especially delicious 🍞🍊 Rooms had everything I needed, including WiFi, tea and coffee, with an extra selection of teas thoughtfully provided for all guests. Comfy bed, good shower (though a solid door instead of a curtain would be a small improvement). Highly recommend for a peaceful and well-located stay near Telford. Also, check out the nearby Pheasant pub — quality, homemade food and a lovely walk to get there! A tip from Sandie there 😉
We stayed here in June 24 as an overnight stop to a further destination, but enjoyed our stay so much we booked a stay on our return trip. What an absolute delight of a place to stay. It’s beautifully quaint. Our room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. Host Sandie couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. The house is set in a stunning location and the surrounding village is breathtaking. All in all I would highly recommend staying here, as we will be again.
We didn’t see anybody on arrival - just received a text as to how to get into the property and to locate our room. The ‘private bathroom’ turned out to be on the public landing below our room which entailed going back down a flight of stairs to get to it. Some people may call the place quaint - we would call it rundown
