Church Street by Supercity Aparthotels

We had an amazing stay at Supercity Aparthotels on Church Street. We’re a family of three, travelling with a small child, and honestly, from start to finish everything was just perfect. Even before we arrived, Antonia from the reservations team was incredibly kind and helpful. She made sure we had a lovely apartment that was just right for us in fact, she went above and beyond and booked us an apartment on the top floor with an amazing private rooftop terrace. It was such a special touch and made our stay feel really memorable. ☺️☺️ When we arrived, we were greeted by Patrick at reception, who was so warm and welcoming. He told us the baby cot was already set up in the apartment, and when he noticed we didn’t have a high chair (which we hadn’t even thought to ask for), he immediately offered to have one sent up. Within minutes, housekeeping had sorted it out. He also gave us some great tips about the city and made us feel completely at home. We were lucky to be placed in a top-floor apartment, which had amazing views and made our stay feel even more special. When we mentioned we had a car, Patrick sorted out parking for us straight away, no fuss. Honestly, everything about this stay was fantastic, the apartment, the service, the people. It was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a hotel, and we’ll definitely be back. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Manchester.

This is the only place I’ll stay in Manchester! I feel at home here. You have the best of both worlds; you can relax as you’re up above everything but everything you need food, drink and entertainment wise is just outside the door. Situated on a slightly quieter street in the northern quarter it’s easy access to everything. The two bedroom apartments have all you need for a great stay and most importantly you feel at home. Staff are always polite and helpful. I can’t fault it. It feels like a hidden gem as lots of people don’t know about it but I don’t mind it being a secret. We plan on staying for seven days over Christmas and can’t wait!

It was a good experience overall, but there were some points worth noting. Positives: • Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including a washing machine. • Soap provided in both the kitchen and bathrooms. • High level of security. • Excellent internet connection. Negatives: • Bathroom had a bad smell, likely due to a drainage problem. • Bathroom was dirty and I had to clean it myself before use. • No cleaning service during short stays, and extra charge for towels or other items. • Guests must take trash to a garbage room themselves. • No air conditioning, only a fan, which is not suitable at all in hot weather.
