Stylish, spacious, quiet and private townhouse easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Stunning full size private pool with all day sun. Amazing breakfast delivered and set out on the dining table each morning at your specified time. We ordered room service a couple of times, which was delicious. Water bottle filter in the kitchen was great, as was the coffee capsule machine. Lots of lovely little touches throughout the apartment. The staff were friendly, professional and respectful and always happy to see you. Pick up from the airport was stress free and the car ride was comfortable. Staying at Cicada was the perfect start to our Bali holiday. We would have been quite happy to stay longer and would love to come back.

We stayed in a three-bedroom villa with a private pool. Our first impression upon entering the villa was that it was spacious, clean, fragrant, and very pleasant. The rooms were large, with semi-outdoor bathrooms, and soaking in the bathtub while gazing at blue skies during the day and stars at night was truly delightful. Breakfast was ordered à la carte and delivered directly to our villa, neatly arranged on the dining table. We also received a complimentary dinner with a variety of menu options. The hotel also provided a free massage service, which was incredibly relaxing. When we ordered food online, the hotel staff received it and delivered it straight to our villa door. In addition, the hotel provided shuttle services to anywhere within the Seminyak area. Guests also received complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off. Wow—everything was all-inclusive! We were very satisfied with the hotel’s service. Although the property is not large, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff made our family holiday even more enjoyable.

We had a very good overall experience during our stay at the hotel with our family. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the general atmosphere was warm and welcoming. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The main issue was the lack of sound insulation from outside. The sliding windows were quite thin, and we could clearly hear street noise and people outside — it often felt like we were sleeping with the windows open. This affected the quality of our sleep. Another point is the outdoor bathroom setup. While the idea of a bath in the open air might sound appealing, in practice it didn’t add much value. We noticed that hardly anyone made use of it. The shower, especially in the main bathroom, was also too exposed. In the evening, it didn’t feel comfortable or private to shower in an open space like that. A more enclosed or covered design would improve the sense of privacy and usability. You would also be less bothered by mosquitoes entering the bedroom through the bathroom. That said, the hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. If the hotel improves the soundproofing and reconsiders the design of the outdoor bathing areas, I’m convinced that the overall guest experience would be truly excellent. We would still consider returning, especially because of the outstanding service.
