The hotel, rooms and location were great. The restaurant food was excellent and there were several others within walking distance that were fun to try also. The shallow water with lots of rocks made swimming a challenge but the hammocks made up for it! We enjoyed swimming in the clear water Cenote across the street and loved the quietness.
Stayed 3 nights in an ocean-view suite. Beautiful location and design, especially the lobby and room decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. But the seaweed smell during our stay was unpleasant, It’s about 20 min from Tulum center, but close to a great cenote. Good vibe, but room for improvement.
We had the most incredible week at Cielo Maya, and we can’t recommend it enough! The location is absolutely unbeatable — you wake up to a direct view of the sea, and enjoy breakfast right on the beach. The hotel is also just around the corner from a stunning cenote, and offers amazing snorkeling opportunities. What really made our stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always friendly and helpful with any questions we had. If you’re looking for a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere, Cielo Maya is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy paradise! We will definitely come back here 😍☺️
