My Nono is from Circeo and helped built the pool at the hotel many years ago although the hotel might be a little outdated it will always be special when I visit.

Even if a little out dated, this little hidden gem of a hotel has a lot to offer. Nestled between the water front and Mount Circeo, it's not over crowded and seems to be more of an Italian get away (eg NOT touristy!!!!) Our room looked out over the water and had a massive balcony, nice to fall asleep to the waves. The pool area is fantastic with a massive pool, very well kept!! There is one guy working in reception, who was made for hospitality. Kind, polite, professional, multi-lingual and very helpful. The beds are not the softest, the rooms are not modern, it feels like you're walking into a flashback from the 90's perhaps. But the prices reflect this so it's all good. The pool and waterfront location make it a steal, really! The location is convenient, you can walk to the harbor where you find many restaurants and the best little ice cream shop!! Big yes for me!

I recently stayed at Maga Circe with family members in San Felice Circeo and was thoroughly impressed by the hospitality. Every member of the staff, from the receptionists and breakfast team to the night porters and mixologists, was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. One of the highlights was the stunning saltwater pool overlooking the sea, providing a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere. The rooms were adequate, clean - offering a comfortable stay. However, I have a few recommendations for the hotel owners. It would be beneficial to provide a clear price list for items in the mini-fridge, particularly for water, and to offer an iron and ironing board in the rooms. If an iron cannot be provided, a transparent price list for ironing services would be helpful, as the current charge of 3 euros per item seems excessive. Similarly, outlining the taxes included in the stay would help avoid any surprises during checkout for guests from countries outside of Italy. San Felice Circeo is a charming destination, though I advise tourists to plan their arrival and departure on weekdays due to limited public bus services. The hotel's proximity to restaurants and the Centro Storico, combined with the exceptional kindness of the staff, made my stay at Maga Circe truly delightful.
