Wonderful accommodations that exceeded my expectations. Clean, modern, sleek. Will definitely be returning to the Barbican Citadines. The front-desk staff went above and beyond and facilitated my early check-in after a long flight.

Absolutely brilliant, the team even put some chocolates in our room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch! The girls in the day time were brilliant, I didn’t catch there names! However Asif in the evening was so helpful with a few questions and finding a parking solution for the next day when we weren’t even staying there! Highly recommend and a great price 👏🏼

During our stay, my partner suddenly became very sick during the night, most likely due to food poisoning. We called the reception for help, but were told the only option was to call an ambulance. The hotel had no basic medicine available—not even something simple for stomach pain—and didn’t offer us even a bottle of water. My partner spent the entire night vomiting, and no assistance or concern was shown. In the morning, after a completely sleepless night, we asked to check out a bit later so he could rest before we had to take our train. We were first given 30 minutes, then only one extra hour. No one asked how he was feeling, and no one offered even the smallest help—not even something to eat, like a biscuit. At checkout, again, no questions, no apology, no understanding. The only thing they told us was that we could pay for a full extra night. For a hotel that claims to be 4 stars, this level of customer care is absolutely unacceptable. We were shocked by the complete lack of empathy, preparation, and basic hospitality. I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise other travelers to consider carefully before booking.
