Citadines Canal Amsterdam

Coffee machine was INCREDIBLE. The staff was so nice and attentive. The location was magical and perfectly set in a quiet neighborhood. Workout room was great and spacious & the lobby restaurant room was awesome for us to hangout.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The apartment was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The location by the canal is peaceful but still close to the city’s main spots. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and convenient access to transit. There wasn’t a dishwasher in my room, but the kitchenette was well-equipped and perfect for light meals. One of my favorite parts was the bar/lounge area, where I spent a lot of time relaxing with the complimentary drinks and cookies—a really thoughtful touch! Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely return!

We reserved the largest room (forgot the name), and overall had a very good experience. The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. While not overly spacious, it was definitely large enough considering the central location. A nice bonus was the 24/7 coffee and tea available in two spots, and our kitchenette was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent — about 20 minutes to Dam Square and 30 minutes to Central Station by foot. We hardly used public transportation because everything was within walking distance, which was a big plus. The neighborhood itself is vibrant with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, yet it’s far enough from the noise that you can sleep peacefully with no disturbances at night. The only downside was the cleaning service. We stayed for 6 nights and were told a deep cleaning would be done mid-stay (every 4 days). They scheduled it for Wednesday, but no one showed up. After asking again on Thursday, someone finally came. The cleaning was good overall, but strangely, they didn’t do the dishes, which we found odd. One minor thing — the hand soap provided didn’t smell great, but it didn’t affect our stay since we brought our own.
