Citadines Prai Penang

This is really an excellent place to stay. The rate is very reasonable. The apartment was clean and the amenities provided were good. The apartment was spacious. The location is superb with the Penang Bridge a short distance away. There are many restaurants all around as well as food courts.

Stayed at Citadines Prai Hotel back in November 2024 — finally writing this review (better late than never 😅😂). I was honestly impressed! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even families. 🛏️ Room Types I noticed: 1-Bedroom Studio – Comes with a small kitchen, dining area, living space, and attached bathroom. Cozy and convenient. 2-Bedroom Suite – Ideal for families or small groups. One room has a queen bed, the other has two single beds. Plus all the same facilities as the studio, but with more space and comfort. 🏊‍♂️ Facilities include a swimming pool with a city view and a gym (which I didn’t explore because… well, I’m not the workout type 😅). 🛒 The ground floor has mini grocery stores and cafés, so you won’t go hungry. And just behind the hotel is Icon City, while across the road there are plenty of restaurants and cafés — lots of food choices within walking distance. Why is that important? Because I love to eat 😂 So as long as my stomach’s happy, I’m happy. Would definitely consider staying here again. Clean, modern, and well-located!

I came to realise the check- in process here is usually delayed for some reason. We used to stay here before, around 2 years an ago and the check in was delayed for about 1hr. This year, it was 2 long hours! They said the room was ready but facing some technical fault and yet when we got into the room, the rubbish was not even thrown yet. Anyway, the receptionist was kind enough to give us complimentary breakfast. This was our to-go place usually for st.anne feast. Probably next time we’ll opt for different facilities. I feel other than the check in issue, the place is great! Great location, spacious rooms, delicious food!
