The rooms, location and service was excellent. More dishes are recommended to be added to breakfast buffet, especially veg buffet. The location is excellent as it is surrounded by clubs and bars. The knly demerit is that the noise from clubs can disturb your sleep, though they do provide sleeping aids such as ear buds.

Located in the heart of the city, one of the good value for money hotels in Bangkok. Facilities are limited but have all the basic necessities. Service is top-notched and the shuttle bus to the BTS station is a life-saver, especially during peak hours. Highly recommended.

Citadines Bangkok – Great Stay, But Checkout Experience Left a Sour Note The hotel itself is very nice, with a good crowd and a comfortable atmosphere. We had booked two rooms, but due to a system oversight, they weren’t marked as smoking rooms. The staff was kind enough to arrange at least one smoking room for us, which we appreciated. Overall, the stay was smooth and pleasant. However, the checkout experience was unexpectedly unpleasant. Here’s what happened: On the first day, my friend wore the provided white foam slippers (the kind most hotels give) and threw away the cloth cover in the dustbin. On the third day, during checkout, the staff checked the rooms and accused us of taking a slipper cover from one room. The receptionist even pointed to my friend’s bag, implying we should “return” it. We were shocked — do they really think someone paying for such expensive rooms would take away a cheap slipper cover? Even with our extensive and expensive shopping bags clearly visible, they still couldn’t judge the situation. My friend was confused at first, and when they showed us the “missing” cover from behind the desk, we were stunned. I offered to let them check our bags, but by then I was visibly angry. Thankfully, the receptionist seemed to realize the mistake and dropped the matter. That moment really spoiled the good vibes from the previous two days. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, and the Indian breakfast is average but acceptable.
