Cititel Penang

This is my second trip in a month staying at Cititel Penang Hotel. I want to thank the Management and all the Staffs for a wonderful and memorable stay. Thank you to En Zabidi and the front office for their warm and thoughtful welcome especially upgrading our room to a more Spacious and a pleasant view. I also want to thank you for the Birthday wishes and the nice touch sending a Complimentary cake to our room. Definitely recommended to stay here for your get away Vacation. Once again thank you for the Hospitality shown and also for giving us a late Checkout after our flight was rescheduled. It is much appreciated.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Cititel Penang! The hotel is in a perfect location in George Town, making it easy to explore the city’s heritage sites, food spots, and attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great view of the city skyline. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Ibrahim. He was incredibly accommodating and always went out of his way to ensure guests were comfortable. From offering helpful local tips to assisting with special requests, Ibrahim showed genuine hospitality and professionalism. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and truly cares about the guests’ experience. Highly recommend Cititel Penang to anyone visiting Penang – and be sure to say hello to Ibrahim, who will make your stay even more enjoyable!

After two decades in the travel industry and countless hotel stays, this is the first time I’ve ever received such a thoughtful gesture from a housekeeping team. It truly warmed my heart. The staff here are so friendly. From the moment I checked in, I was warmly greeted by the duty manager. Shortly after entering my room, the receptionist even called to ensure I was happy with it. I was genuinely surprised—I’m not staying at a five-star hotel, but their service was outstanding. This is true hospitality, and it’s the standard all hotels should strive for.
