citizenM Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang

Whenever I am in Kuala Lumpur, I come here, and it never disappoints. Their breakfast is average at best for me, but for people with simple pallets, it might be okay. Service is exactly what you expect from a good hotel. The rooms are the same as the pictures. Sound insulation is good for not hearing outside noise, but you will definitely hear people walking in the hallway. Location is perfect to be close to everything in the centre, however when you go into the hotel you can enjoy a different energy. For views, your room either faced the road and other hotels( when we were in our room, we could see people from the other hotel looking into rooms and waving etc. The only other option is the rooms that face into the other rooms, so I can imagine when people are in their rooms, curtains have to be closed. There are blackout blinds with a smart system that allow you to control the atmosphere, lights, and overall ambience. Beds are firm.

OK, confession: We didn't actually stay in the hotel. 🤪 We saw the foyer as we were walking by and thought it looked like a nice spot to sit, have a drink, and chat a bit in relative peace and quiet. Tick 3 boxes! This place was great. I bought a bottle of red wine, we both found interesting books on the shelves, and we sat listening to excellent music for about 2 hours before wandering back to our apartment. The art in the foyer (and mezzanine) was fun and quirky, the library similar, and the bar staff friendly and well versed in their trade. If I had known about this hotel prior to booking our KL stay, I would have chosen the citizenM for sure! 😄

Great place to stay! The rooms are so high-tech! Loved the opportunity to choose the colour of lights in the bathroom. The bed is super soft and comfortable. Stayed with the view to the inner garden, so the room was super quiet as well. The lobby is great, service is amazing. And it's located very close to a walking street. Loved it
